I'm a fun and positive man , and I like women's company as much as men's. Modesty aside a female friend told me recently I am brilliant company. At the same time I have a men friends and enjoy watching football. Another friend said I am not a typical Englishman. I took that as a compliment - I was told it was meant to be . I speak fairly good Italian, meet Italians regularly, and can bluff my way in a bit of French or Spanish. I'm always drawn to Italy, Spain and know both well having spent most of my travel time in the past ten years in on or the other. So if you are from either country or Latin America we could get on very well. I like women that can respond to a bit of banter with a ready wit as well as having a good heart. Along with this I am a genuine person who cares about my friends and relationships. I can be stylish when I want to be - a bit of Terre de Hermes and a good jacket and shoes helps. My first love is books and am quite well read. My interests tend towards the arts but I am inquisitive about many things and dabble. Equally I'll slob out in front of the TV and watch a silly movie . Sunday nights on Channel 4 can be good.I confess the first Airplane movies were hilarious but my higher tastes get me out to the BFI and the Curzon Soho. I'd like to travel more - long -term I'm thinking of Japan, Finland and maybe South America. A yen to get out of London also takes me off on country rambles with friends or walking groups. I'm a decent cook of the practical no nonsense kind and can whip up a tasty meal from what's in the fridge.

I think being happy is more important than being fiercely ambitious and driven, but I am ambitious in my own way . I find myself drawn to women who are kind and considerate as well as warm and fun with their own dreams in life. I'm a work in progress but we are all changing and growing if we're alive.
